Momma Said – Honorable Mention – 2021 International Songwriter’s Day Competition
Steve Harris is pleased to announce that Momma Said, an original composition, had been selected by a global celebrity team of judges to receive an honorable mention in the 2021 International Songwriter's Day (“ISD”) competition. This year’s theme was “inspiration” – songs that celebrate new beginnings, second chances, and starting over. “As a song about a young man’s turn from hate to love for all of humanity, Momma Said fit well into the theme,” Harris said.Competition winners were announced by ISD on its webpage and social media on April 9, International Songwriters Day. The celebrity panel of six “golden ear” judges for this year’s competition included multi-award-winning artists and production executives who have worked with some of the greatest names in music today, including Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Elton John, and Ozzy Osbourne.
