Global Music Awards of La Jolla, California (globalmusicawards.com) has announced that it selected Steve Harris’s original composition, Green Tea Blues, as a 2021 bronze medal winner in its annual music competition. Green Tea Blues was a winner in the lyrics composition category. This is the sixth win this year for the song, having previously been recognized by competitions in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Israel.
“I’m obviously pleased that this song is recognized as something special. I was inspired from a number of perspectives in creating both the music and the lyrics,” Harris said. “And of course, my team of musicians and my director, Stewart Myers, contributed their incredible talents to the finished product. I am so grateful that they exploited my vision for this song so beautifully.”
Established in 2011, the Global Music Awards is a well-known international music competition, which celebrates independent musicians. Global Music Awards is widely recognized by industry insiders as giving legitimacy to highly talented artists.
Each year, Global Music Awards receives hundreds of entries from around the world. This year’s gold medal winners were from the United States, Egypt, Iran, Germany and Taiwan.
