Lousia Crossing was Steve's inaugural solo album of original compositions. While the base of the music is "classic country," the album brings in other Americana styles to create a new, fresh sound.

I love the line "new Mr. Right" it is heartbreaking, but clever and gets the theme of your song across quickly. I love your melody and your line phrasing. You are singing in such a way that the song flows even when you go into more of a free verse rhyme scheme at the end. Nice job!

Really nice lyrics and good story. I love the mandolin plucked arpeggios! The chord changes of this song are really interesting. This song had a fun vibe that kept the listener engaged. Nice imagery in the lyrics and very tasteful demo. The guitar solo was really cool and changed the mood of the song completely!
